A Prayer for Conversations Around AI

God of all wisdom, You who spoke galaxies into being with a word, teach us to be careful with ours.

We come to this table not as experts but as pilgrims, holding tools we did not make and questions we cannot fully answer.

Grant us the humility to learn from one another across the distances of generation and experience. Grant us the courage to ask hard questions without the compulsion to resolve them too quickly.

And grant us always this: the memory that we are made for love, not efficiency — for encounter, not merely output — for the face of our neighbor, which no algorithm has ever seen.

Amen.
